Former Literature and Language (Brazilian Portuguese) Professor, I miss the academia a lot, I'll more than eventually complain about it. Chronic illness and my sensory problems (ND, I have a highly sensitive hearing and very low tolerance to noises) wouldn't let me go back, though.
Psychoanalyst, active, with breaks. I have had my own patients for over a decade, and now I work as a Clinical Practice Supervisor (a therapists' therapist of sorts).
I read a lot of books since I was 4, I read a lot of books today too, and Guardian (Zhen Hun, by Priest) remains my favorite novel ever, since the first time I read it years ago, so you can have an idea of how obsessed I am about it.
English is not a language widely spoken in my country and though I learnt when I was a pre-teen and have been speaking since then, I only started writing fiction in this language in 2021, more consistently in 2022, so forgive my lack of vocabulary. (I've been writing fiction in my native language for over 3 decades in contrast and some days I'll complain about the giant gap between the quality of my writing in my native language versus the quality of it in English).
